Aurora guesthouse is situated in a quiet street in the centre of Reykjavik, the old part of the town at Freyjugata 24 and is a home looking house with a soul. It has 3 floors and you can choose from single, double, triple or family sized rooms, all the rooms with wash-basins and comfortable beds, the bathrooms and showers are shared.
We offer you newly renovated apartment with bedroom and living room, fully equipped kitchenette and a nice bathroom, also studio apartment with fully equipped kitchenette and a nice bathroom.
Internet connection. We offer internet connection if you would like to read your e-mail or search the internet. We also offer wireless connection for laptops.

We stayed in a dorm room and a private room. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, towels and pillows were provided. The showers were hot and good. Breakfast was good.

Siggy is a wonderful wonderful person! The hostel is very safe, very clean, and close to downtown. If you are looking for a quiet hostel (ie, no noisy people/backpackers yelling in the hallways) then this is the place for you. In addition, due to some construction work, I was given a nicer room than I had reserved and it was a wonderful treat!
