Euro Moniz is situated in the village of Porto Moniz; 100 m from the natural swimming pools and the ocean; just 46Km from the capital, Funchal and 60 KM from the international Airport.
Vineyards producing the famous Madeira wine, surround the hotel and 1 Km away, lies the "laurissilva" forest a world-wilde patrimony of Unesco-it contains unique types of fauna and flora.
Hotel Euro Moniz has three floors, with 33 rooms, including 5 Superiors and 2 Suites juniors, with cable TV, sound proofing glass, air-conditioning, direct-dial phone, safe-deposit box, hair drier and private bathroom and balcony.
Facilities include a restaurant with breakfast service (buffet), We work in conjunction with two restaurants for Lunch and dinner nearby the Hotel, but we should be opening a restaurant in the near future. A panoramic bar, sauna, heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, wireless and a pcon the hall of reception, solarium, mini-gymnasium, massages, mountain bike, underground parking.
Radical sports
Due to it´s privileged location one can practise various sports: swimming, diving, boat trips etc.
Guided Levadas Walks, guided Rappel, Escalada, boulder, canyoning.
Due to its proximity to the natural park of Madeira Consider as a natural reserve for UNESCO the possibilities of spending a day or two exploring the various plants, and birds that inhabit the area

It is a real hotel with breakfast and every day room cleaning, not really a hostel. The staff was really helpful and flexible. Breakfast, although the same every day was good and sufficient. The hotel is really close to the natural swimming pool.

Big rooms, spacious. Very variety breakfast menu - deliscious :). Quietness and peaceful place. Very friendly and helpull staff. They even provide additional facilities to comfort my 2years old son :) which was great suprise for me. this is a perfect place if you want just be relax and do nothing.

Obviously, as it is a hotel, it does not have the "charm" of a hostel. That having said, it is a very nice place to stay. Great location. Big room. Good value for money. Free parking.

Nice hotel located in a very small town. All the comfort you ned. Most of the staff was friendly, save for one person who seemed to dislike their job.Good selection of channels on the TV (seems stupid, but if you spend a few days in Porto Moniz, it IS nice to have a way to entertain yourself in the evening as the city is tiny.)Breakfast ok but nothing special.The city/region is nice and picturesque, very quiet.

Beautiful chilled quiet location and wonderful rooms - ours had a balcony and a seaview. The hotel also had great facilities (great breakfast, pool. jacuzzi and sauna and a late bar) and extremely friendly staff.

The Euro Moniz is in the center of Porto Moniz, a small town in Madeira. The location is great, and the landscape around there is fabulous. To go around I recommend you rent a car, otherwise you will depend on the bus services and their timetables. The breakfast was the best in Madeira.
