There are about 18 rooms in various grade, most of them are standard two beds rooms, and some special big bed room for couples or lovers, the lounge for reception, or as we called it a freeman bar is large and comfortable, equipped with 100 inch screen to show English TV program , .we provide western break-fast here in the morning. The furniture in the room is that sort of used in three-star hotel. And articles used on bed are made of 100% cotton; the bathroom is also rather modern. A word or two about the founder of Guilin Oasis Inn & Guilin General Translation Co., Ltd
Mr.Zhou Ji (Joe), born in August of 1951.
In the Great Cultural Revolution he insisted on studying English by self-taught, from 1969 to 1971 when settled down in a mountainous village in forest, at the circumstance of hard laboring.
From 1972 to 1977 worked as a farmhand and beekeeper in a farm.
From 1978 to 1982, studied in Guangxi Normal University. From 1982 to 1984 worked as a teacher of English in a college of Guilin; from 1985 to 1986 transferred to the Tourist Bureau of Guilin Prefecture acted the general manager of International Travel Service, Guilin Pref.
In 1984, created Guilin Translation Company (NGO), as the general manager
Achievements: Foreign Language Training Courses: Administrated running FLT courses for more than ten years, trained four thousands trainees and students.
Translation Documentation: important documents for several millions words for various trades in the society.
In 1994 to Switzerland to work for a big enterprise there for half a month and in 2006 flew to Egypt to work for installation of a glass production line there for two months.
In 1999, set up an Oasis Inn in the down town of the city, at the same time, built up a Huangmei Villa in a mountainous area, aimed at advocating eco-environmental protection in the up-stream of Lijiang River. including: Donjiang River Rafting, Exploration of Dragon Mouth Waterfall Forest Valley etc. During this period, created “Group Rafting Boat” which boasts the safety and fun the first, obtained the patent of the state.
December 2004, organizing and founding “The Association of Eco-environmental Protection of Guilin Lijiang River Valley”, acted as the chairman.
In 2006 invited as an associated professor of China Management Science Institute.
The thoughts of the author “On Four Liberties of the Citizen” was complied into “Collection of Thought and Theories of New Era in China”, and obtained the first prize conferred by China Management Science Research Institute, for his practice and contribution to the building up a marketing system in China.
