We don’t tolerate, under any circumstances, disrespectful and disruptive behavior, in particular that resulting from irresponsible drinking. In short, we don’t like drunk people! If this isn't okay with you, there are plenty of other places in Barcelona that could fulfill your needs.

Our Kitchen areas equipped with all food preparation utensils will make you feel as home & enjoy a great meal.

Our location is superb because we are located on a pedestrian street next to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Las Ramblas can be seen from some of the apartments balconies. If you want to be walking distance to many of Barcelona attractions and be in the centre of Barcelona. Then our location is perfect
All these awesome worlds within walking distance.
We like to walk, BCN is a wanderer´s paradise,Luckily- for the walking deprived- there´s the subway & the bus, both just around the corner
Apartment Conditions
No Reception Area!!! (The managment office hours are everyday from 9 am to 21 pm. It is mandatory that you call us when you arrive in barcelona, and before you arrive to the apartment to receive your exact check in time.) Please you need to call at least 30-min before,to check in*s.
Check In: 12:30 noon to 21 pm
Free check in: 12:30 pm to 21 pm
Late - early check in charge:
25 euros/each room (21:01 pm to 23:00 pm)
50 euros/each room (23:01 pm to 1:00 am)
75 euros/each room (1:01 am to 12:29 pm)
Check out: You are free to Check out: ( Anytime before 11am)without any charges
*Groups 5 or more will pay an extra cleaning fee of 35€per room
Please Note. People Under 14 Years Old Are Not Allowed.(Children or baby) Sorry!!!
Check Out: 10: 30 to 11:00 a.m.(You are free to check out anytime before 11am)with no charges.
If you are leaving Barcelona after the 11:00 a.m. check out time luggage can be stored in the SANTS train station or the NORD bus station.

A good place to stay to visit Barcellona. Very well placed, near Plaza Catalunya and the ramblas (really 300 meters!). The rooms where minimal but clean, the common area well organized. If you look for total comfort is not for you, but otherwise a really cheap and good accomodation.

Ram Cat is a great hostel: it is in a perfect position in the city centre, directly on the Ramblas. It is relatively cheap. The rooms are really nice and well furnished and decorated, big and clean. People is really friendly. Further, every apartment in the hostel has an equipped kitchen. Awesome!

We spent a weekend in this hostel in October 2011 and we were very pleased with our stay! A lot of space in our room, a well-equiped kitchen to prepare and store food, and a computer situated in the kitchen area with internet connection (usable from 10am to 10pm.) The cheep prise, very peaceful (partying and inviting guests not allowed), the location right close to Rambla and the cousy and clean rooms will make us come again, when we visit Barcelona. The only minus was that out window didn't get fully closed. Because of that it was chilly to sleep in the first night (we got blankets from the friendly staff for the following nights) and a tight window would have blocked more of the noises coming from outside. But it is a tiny problem to get solved. We recommend Apartamento Ramcat to everybody!

If you are looking for somewhere to just sleep and you are planning to get tired in the daytime, Ramcat is the place for you. Absolutely quiet and very very clean. The staff is nice and the positioun could not be any better. Very close to airport transport and placa catalunya, it is practically on the la rambla. We loved it even though there was not a private bath option and the credit card machine was not working.

Very cosy hostel with friendly staff in the heart of Bacelona! It´s like living in your own little home! There were only one bathroom and shower but it was perfectly enough! All the common areas were cleaned every day. + It´s cheap!

Totally enjoyed my stay at Ramcat. The place was clean, modern, well-equipped and most importantly, just slightly off La Rambla! Awesome location. The only complaint I have is that sharing one bathroom (toilet, shower and sink all in one) with so many other guests may not be the best idea. There was always a queue in the mornings. I suggest to pay a bit more and get your own private bathroom if you were to stay here. But otherwise great hostel!

We (a couple - from Southern Africa and Macedonia) stayed at RamCat for 3 nights during a weekend in March. After reading a few negative reviews I was slightly worried, but I was actually very happy with the hostel. Although I thought it was odd we couldnt go straight to the hostel, it worked out fine and there was not hasstle. The hostel was clean, with free towels, an equipped kitchen, funky decor and right next to La Rambla. We had our own key, and since we were on a romantic weekend were not too bothered that it was not as 'fun' as other hostels we have been to before...There were few other guests, but noise does carry in the corridors (and from happy people outside in the streets) but nothing some earplugs cant take care of...;)

the hostel is located in the centre. the metro-station is only a one-minute-walk away and you're directly in the heart of barcelona. internet-access is free and available from 10am to 10pm. my rating depends on my opinion of having holidays in the city and not in the room. prize and location are totally awesome
