Nice apartment! We really enjoyed our stay at Tu Casa Apartments. It was a splurge for us as we are backpackers, but it was worth it to have a fully self contained apartment for once! It is an easy U Bahn or bus ride from the central stations, once you can figure the transport out -- you need to get off at Konstanzer Straus U Bahn which is on the U7 line. The main problem, and it is a small one i suppose, is that the lift was broken and it is the sixth floor -- one-hundred-eighteen steps up with a backpack isn't all that fun! But it is close to a supermarket and has everything you would need for cooking (oven, microwave, stove top, pots and pans). And another upside is that it was close to a really cheap italian restaurant (3 Euros for a Pizza/Pasta, nice!). As i said they are self contained -- that means the only contact you have with the owner is when you check in to give you your key, and on the day you check out when he comes to make sure you are nearly ready to go. So it isnt at all like a hostel or hotel staff wise, but that didnt bother us at all. All in all it was a good stay, the photos are accurate and the apartment was nice.
