Great historic building and near the centre

we chose the hostal for its location and history but soon found out that, even though it is on a no vehicle traffic road, trafficking was rampant with offers of dope and sex. Also, since it is right near bars open most of the night that we were not aware of until we were settled in for the night, we did not sleep a wink.

Good location

Great location, half-block from Plaza de Armas, located on pedestrian street (Procuradores). Rooms were clean. Decent value for Cusco, although Cusco is expensive compared to the rest of SA. Rooms are on second floor and security is provided by an employee on duty twenty-four/seven who buzzes you up. Individual room locks are not very secure though, no deadbolts, and no safe on premises. Suggest you don't leave valuables in rooms.
