Stayed here in August 2005. For a backpacker it provided a place to sleep. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were average and, besides being very near a train station, location to major sites was a concern. A short metro ride, however, would get you anywhere you needed to go. The area didn't seem like the best and we did feel we should lock our bags closed and then lock them to the piping under the sink in our room. Not that we needed to, but it just felt like it was a good idea. Basically, its a clean bed for the night in a private room. Decent place. — Brad (2006-07-17)
I recently stayed one night at this place -- never ever again -- this building is nowhere near the centre of Athens, flea market or central shopping area. It is clean however it is run down, does not have a kitchen that is useable, the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired, there was constant shouting in the hallway and footsteps on the tiled foor outside our door. All through the night we heard the sounds of knocking on the doors either side of us, then the sound of a bed banging constantly against the wall, to be topped off by the very loud oohs and ahhs of what could have passed for the sound track of a porn movie. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this one. — Karen Porter (2006-03-09)
