A really nice place for such a good price Although located really close to la Rambla, we couldn't find the place on our first attempt. This was actually because of the weird street signs. Called the guy up fifteen minutes before arriving at Welcome Inn and he was on time. The street was poor and filthy and not too promising. Entered the main door which led to an old, soup smelling corridor. Up the stairs the smell was still there. Another hundred stairs and we were there! When the guy opened the door I couldn't believe such nice apartment could actually be in such an old horrible smelly house. The air was clear, everything nice and clean. Open kitchen made it all look very cosy. Our room was really nice. It is simple but contains everything you need. A wardrobe, sofa, bed, night table, en-suite bathroom. Someone here wrote that you need to bring your own towels and that the beds were bad. Well, we were given towels and the bed was absolutely fine. The only thing was that the walls are really thin so you could hear the cleaning lady pull about in the mornings. Also the pillows were not exactly most comfortable but it was all good. As our trip took place in December, there were not many people around that time. No noisy neighbours or anything. In one word the accommodation turned out to be the best thing about our trip. It is excellent value for money if you simply want a decent place to rest. I would definitely go back.

I wrote a comment right before this one thinking i got scamed cause i coud'nt find the place, well guess what we finaly did. Its a realy nice flat with a couple of rooms and a guest kitchen, people are very friendly and so is the guy that works there. the only thing is you have to make sure you CALL BEFORE YOU GET THERE, there is no reception someone has to meet you to give you the key.
