I stayed here for several nights on two different occasions this last Spring ('06). I took a nice, small, single room for thirty thousand Won per night. The room had a very nice and powerful air-conditioner (my friend who stayed a few floors above had a slightly less powerful air-conditioner), a television, and a small refrigerator. As a bonus, Beewon has a wireless network which worked like a charm, although I had to make my first connection by walking my laptop over to the hub (I have no idea why that was). The bed was fine, while I was there the place was quiet. All in all a really decent and inexpensive place to stay. On my blog I noted it might not be the place for my mom, but I would return.

stayed there for a couple of days last december..was kind of hesitant as we couldn't find any information on it and it wasn't rated anywhere, but it was the only place we could find a double room (not dorms)..and I'm glad to say i didn't regret it.. they give you really specific directions so you can find it easily... one of the owner's english isn't that great, but she is very friendly and sign language gets you a long way.. but there was also this friendly Welsh guy running the place the rooms were very clean as well as the sheets and the bathroom had a bathtub and running hot water... I was very pleased with my stay there, they were incredibly helpful in providing us with information on the city and very specific (and accurate too!!) directions on how to get to some spots... Location was pretty good..then again the transportation system in Seoul is amazing so you can go anywhere very easily bottom line, if you're looking for a comfortable stay at a clean and friendly environment at a reasonable price (17$ a night...high season)then it's a pretty good place to be!
