Description
Having been given the flourish of a light makeover to some of the areas within, an expansive white exterior openly greets the visitor to the 5-storey Queens Hotel.

Situated close-by to Crystal Palace Football Club ground at Selhurst Park and the original Crystal Palace - built for the Great Exhibition of 1854 and now the home of the renowned Crystal Palace Theme Park Maze - the Queens Hotel is perfectly placed as the starting point for exploring South London's rich history.

The hotel offers a range of attractive guest facilities, including a breakfast and dining room, as well as a function room. 1 Took ages to check in. First room (52) unfit for use -- soggy carpet, peeling wallpaper (damp/mould). Keycards very unreliable. Took an hour to find us another room (had to look round to see which rooms might be free!). That room (252) had no phone, dirty windows, blocked sink etc. but at least beds were comfy. Often no hot water in many rooms. Breakfast cheap and continental, not full as advertised. Bar service non-existent and only one beer being served -- rest were "off." I checked out a day early. Serious maintenance and management issues must be resolved. A disaster -- avoid at all costs!
