A beautiful very CENTRAL located apartment with 5 en-suite rooms (private WC) with all the amenities that you need to have a great holiday in Rome. We have private rooms or beds in mixed dormitory (also female only dorms). There is a big bathroom for all in the corridor with a bath-tub, we offer to our dormitory guests the average of 1 bathroom to every 4 persons, it's a special offer among the hostels in Rome downtown.
---We accept big groups of guests with several rooms, but please check availability by email.
---All our bedrooms are quiet and comfortable, even for senior guests on a romantic trip in downtown Rome.
--NO NIGHT SERVICE-RECEPTION WARNINGS: To respect the staff and other guests sleeping, we are grateful if your first arrival is after around 9.00 AM in the morning and before midnight 23 PM. After 23 PM it is difficult for us, to enter the room to accommodate you because other guests want to sleep otherwise next day they want to be refunded money. If you cannot be here in the range of 9AM-23PM,you must at least inform us with a phone call, and when we are forced to receive you anyway is a problem for us, we invite you to find another hostel for the first night, no charge for the first night and you will come next morning after 9.00 AM..The next nights stay you will have the keys so you get back home as you like. In circumstances that we are obliged to open the door anyway after midnight, we ask that you please tip the staff for waking them up. If there is no answer to the buzzer when you arrive at the building, please call us on our phones.
INFO PAYMENT- We ask the bill cash at the check-in, if just necessary we accept also the credit card,but there are 2% of bank commission.
BREAKFAST INCLUSIVE
Get up in the morning and and have a free available buffét of typical italian breakfast, with milk, coffee or tea, plumcakes,small tart,biscottate slices,bread toasted, marmalade, honey,(butter on request) and nuts chocolate cream . The staff will prepare it since early in the morning untill mid-day.
LOCATION:
Walter Guest House is 2 blocks off the main Station Termini, 10 minutes from all the main attractions, like the Colloseum, Piazza Venezia, TREVI Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. The Vatican City is a little further down the road and you will have no problem as public transport is just under the house. For the night owls, we have a disco just a stones throw away, round the corner the main Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and if you want to forget your problems go and have a drink down at the many Irish pubs that are a stones throw away from the house. If you have problems sightseeing, we will try and get you infomation and tips for the day. Come stay at the HOME AWAY FROM HOME and enjoy being in Rome.

I booked a bed for 1 night and it was supposed to include breakfast,wifi and other services, but it tourned out to be an exceptional offer and I had to pay 3€ if I wanted to have them. I didn't pay, and I think that it isn't worth it. I wouldn't pay more than 8€ for a bed in this place because you must pay 2 more euros for the reservation and 2 more per night for the city taxes. Result: 12€ for a non very comfortable bed without the promised services.

Stayed for a week in the 2nd building. Shalik was very helpful, friendly and nice to talk to. He did our laundry (there was a lot) for just 5 euros. Also I left my jumper in the room when we checked out and they were quick to respond and I collected it the next day. Breakfast is good, nice tea and coffee. Location is perfect (central, plenty of shops, cafes and 1 minute walk to metro A)

The place needs to be clean on the daily basis, I don´t think I ever saw someone cleaning!
The room in the middle of the hallway is the worst because plp are always walking through talking, drinking, fighting etc and it is very hard to sleep there.

Since Walter Guest House didnt have enough space for us, we got placed in their other hostel Star Rooms. We had booked 3 beds in a 6 bed dorm but got our own room instead. The staff was really nice, though he didnt speak much english but since we speak italian it wasnt a porblem. Only 2 bathrooms on 20 people, but never had to wait to the shower. It was clean and staff really helpful if anything was needed. For 20 euro a night, it was really worth it, we didnt go to Rome to spend our time in the Hostel so we are really happy with our stay. Comfy beds and close to buses and metro. Over all good!

I don't recommend at all to stay at B&B Dante or Walter Guest House, or any other etablishment he proposes. He didn't respect the reservation we had for 5 people at B&B Dante. At the last moment he sent 2 of us to Walter Guest House, we had to go walking with our luggage for about 15 minutes. He was very rude when I told him that he hadn't respected the reservation, he cried and at the end he charged us more.
Ne restez pas chez Walter Guest House. Il ne respect pas les réservations. Il a un sale caractère, il ne voit pas la différence entre les clients et lui. Il n'est pas professionnel. A éviter à tout prix !!!!!

Nice, clean place with friendly staff, which is very well located, although not the best for meeting other people as there is no common area. The breakfast is very simple (just cornflakes, tea, coffee, bread and some spreads). You have to pay extra (only 5 EUR I think) to use your own bathroom (i.e. not the shared bathroom, of which there is only one).

Its really close to everything, but the neighborhood its not the best. Great staff, nice people. But the building is too old and the Wifi doesnt works. Its ok for the price, just to sleep, not to meet people or spend time there.

I had to make a reservation for one extra day, and they charged me double just to take out all the other beds so it was a personal room. Even worse, they told me to leave my things in the locker, but they clearly moved them to put some sheets there, that made me feel really uncomfortable

The personal seems really nice, and looks like they work theyr best, but the one in the reception is really rude, so be prepared. The breakfast was almost a joke, I counted 10 people in the floor and there were only 3 liters of milk

It is a small flat, with a lot of beds. bathroom and kitchen not always clean. Staff disorganized. Internet not available. Breakfast is not prepared, just a coffee machine and some cereals are available. The kitchen is not large enough for the hosts.

good position near metro station and Termini rail station, strong WIFI quality, but beds are not comfrotable and NOT ALLOWED to use credit card(they said credit cards accepted on the website) which drove me crazy!!!
