I actually didn't stay, but I met the owner's brother at the bus station (he just got out of the Army) and he told me all about it. Apparently the Bob Marley lounge at the hostel is very authentic (wink wink nudge nudge). They also have another brother with another hotel in Hurghada, the Sea Waves hostel.
