Rodney's Viewpoint Rest & Restaurant

I stayed at Rodney's for two days and loved it! I would have liked to stay longer but I had to get back to Colombo. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and will do anything you ask. I booked a day tour with the guesthouse that was excellent, of which the Elephant Orphanage was the highlight and should not be missed!! I would highly recommend this guesthouse!

We are a family of four and stayed at Rodney's for four days, which was our longest stop in one place in Sri Lanka. This says what we thought of this place. It is almost new, and has very large rooms with full en suites with plenty of hot water, which are serviced daily. It has full-sized comfortable beds equipped with mosquito nets. And the staff loved our two young sons. Rooms have great views over Knuckles Range and a pretty village. There is a menu to suit all tastes and it is all freshly prepared. All in all, a real find.

Rodney's guesthouse is in Kandy and well situated (near the Temple Of The Tooth). The rooms are quiet and clean. Hot water and mosquito nets are available. You will also enjoy a large balcony with an awesome view. The food is good and prepared and served by a very kind team.

Very friendly place and staff. Excellent views over a valley. Good food — rice and curry. It's a walk of around 15 minutes into town, although it is very easy to hail a tuk tuk.
