The international airport Marco Polo is situated in Tessera, 12 Km by car and 10 Km by motorboat from Venezia. It's connected to Venice and to Railway Station of Mestre.

-Service of public bus ACTV or ATVO for Piazzale Roma:
ACTV - Tickets 0.77 euro valid on all navigation lines for sixty minutes from the validation time. Passengers can make unlimited journeys on all inner lines.
-10 single ticket carnet 7.23 euro; a book of ten single tickets which must be validated before use and shown together with the matrix (last ticket of the book).
Carnet tickets are available from ACTV authorized sellers and ACTV ticket offices in P.Roma, Calle dei Fuseri and Lido.

ATVO 2.58 euro Valid for one single journey.
It will take roughly 30 minutes.
Private transportations: Private car-taxi. Price about 15 euro.
When you arrive at Piazzale Roma you can take the motorboat.

Airport - Venice Alilaguna is the direct passenger waterbus service between Venice and its airport. Ticket 8, 78 Euro; you can buy it directly on board without any supplement.

The Train Station Venezia S. Lucia is situated in Cannaregio, near Piazzale Roma.

Very lovely place, beautiful and romantic. I booked a 4 bed ensuite and we got almost a little apartment, two connected rooms with a shared area and bathroom. beautiful little hostel with lots of character and lovely decor. 1 minute walk from academia bridge. Air conditioning did not work well and the safe in our room didn't work but otherwise everything was very good. Safes in other rooms worked fine!
