Good, friendly hotel We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. Linda and Gerry -- very polite, helpful, and courteous. good value for money and breakfast is fantastic.

I Paid full £50 in advance. However, upon arrival I noticed the room had no central heating as advertised, no bedside lighting either and only a single bar fire. I decided not to stay and politely asked for a refund less any cancellation fee. Linda Wallace was very pleasant until I asked for a refund, then she became verbally abusive and shouted at me, she also swore about me as I was trying to remove my luggage, no help was offered. Instead a man demanded the room keys as I struggled with my luggage. I felt very intimidated and called the Police. These people were very rude to me and refused to refund any part of my money! I booked through Blackpoolhoteldirectory.com. However, there was a problem with the email and booked over the telephone. I then paid Linda wallace by cheque via post. I was treated despicably and feel other Hotel sites should be made aware of this incident. Miss K
