Infested, mean owner I stayed here for 2007 NYE. rooms infested with long-leg spiders, cobwebs in the corners, and cockroaches (saw seven to ten spiders around the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom on the first night). flowerpots outside collect rain and breed mosquitoes. floor and bathtub on check-in was dusty and had paint chips. breakfast was stale bread, no fruit, no meat. owner made us check-in before showing the rooms, only after did we find out there is a no refund policy via posting on the door. wireless internet was down. most importantly, the owner was disagreeable to most of my above complaints and tried to blame me for having unreasonable standards since I'm from Canada. Ten minutes from CBD is incorrect -- it takes ten minutes' walking to get to Burwood Station, and ten to thirty minutes by train to CBD depending on which train is available. — Anthony , Canada (2008-01-09)
