I do NOT recommend AttapSana Bed and Breakfast in Kuala Lumpur. They had no knowledge of my reservation when I arrived, the room was dirty, it's in a very noisy area (there's an all-night restaurant downstairs) and I was charged an extra night for checking out early. AttapSana looks pretty on its Web site. The reality is that it's a dump.

I was stuck for a place to stay and a local directed us to this place. It's really nicely decorated, and offers free breakfast and tea and coffee. It's hard to find if you're not directed to it, though.

Being stuck in Malaysia can suck. Dealing with immigration does suck, and getting your money kerswinkled always sucks. But the friendly folks at AttapSana will make it all better for you. I hope you like the free breakfast.

Although it was hard for me to find it because it's located on a small street, I have really nice memories of it. If you want to feel at home in a strange country, then take a cab (or "teksi" in Malay), ask for a time counter and tell the driver Attapsana Hostel is behind Istana Hotel. Enjoy and say hello from me. ;-)
