I loved this hotel, but I probably I had low expectations. I think it would better fit on the high end of hostels. Really, you are getting an incredibly central location, clean rooms, polite staff, and semi-kitchen (no stove or oven) for an amazingly low price. You are right in the center of things, and Notre Dame is only a five-minute walk away. This isn't exactly the place to meet people, but it is refreshingly quiet and there is no curfew. There is one computer with free internet, and a grocery store just a few blocks away. There is a super cute market right down the street in the mornings. The best deal for the best part of Paris.

The hotel may of been nice if we had actually stayed there. Our room had been double booked despite paying a deposit and reciving a confirmation email. On arrival we were informed of this and were told to go and look for another hotel in paris and that our deposit would not be returned to us. I found the staff rude, unhelpful, and very unapolagetic for their mistake.

We stayed there three nights in may 2006. The staff is really helpful and nice. The room was really clean and peaceful for the night. The location in Paris is perfect, just five minutes walk to Notre-Dame, in the Quartier Latin. There is different room, you just have to ask what you want. And the price is really fair. I hope I will stay again in that hotel.

The term basic is being generous for their rooms (especially the ones near the top floor of the building). The Internet photographs do not do the hotel justice overall!

My wife and I visited this hotel in mid-January. The hotel is sanitary and clean; in fact you could smell the heavy disinfectant they use in your room. The staff are comfortable to deal with. These guys only clean the rooms before you check in and don't bother with it till you leave. Which was okay as we were staying in for just a couple of days. The rooms are a bit small but they did serve our purpose. This hotel is nicely placed in Paris, as you can just about walk to almost all the sights you want to visit.
