Very friendly place for guests to relax! I stayed here two nights and appreciated the friendliness and concern from the staff. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace for relaxing, having breakfast, and meeting other guests. The staff is happy to arrange any sightseeing trips and transportation. The price is very good and the location is on a quiet street, and close to everything. There is a homey feel here, and I felt the staff wanted me to feel very welcomed and "at home." I enjoyed talking with the staff who all seem to know English and other languages as well. The place is clean and rooms have balconies. The walls are painted with nice murals and there are nice places to sit around and read or hang out with others. Great ambiance. Good place to stay! Staying at the Sherief you are at the heart of Egypt, mixing with other nationalities, and meeting the real people, and discovering its customs.
