The apartment was great — cozy, comfortable and conveniently located. Shopping wasn't a problem and it was an easy bus-Metro combo into the city, a 20-minute trip, as advertised. In general our stay in Minsk was interesting and enlightening, peaceful for the most part but not without its moments of excitement. The opera, ballet, circus, parks, banya and other offerings of the city were exceptionally affordable, as was this flat. Alex was friendly and helpful in every way. — Don (2005-02-24) Alex provided exceptional service, making my brief trip to Minsk both memorable and enjoyable. He eagerly met me at the train station and meticulously insured that I was comfortable and oriented to my new surroundings.
The apartment was conveniently located just 20 minutes outside the city center with cheap and easy transportation and shopping readily available 24 hours. If you have ample time, let Alex show you around the city. He knows all the great spots and will give you an excellent survey of local history and culture.
