My friend and I stayed at the Downtown Guesthouse for nearly three weeks, and whenever we have the chance to visit Amsterdam, we will happily, gleefully, joyously stay with Patrick and Edwin again. We adore them both...they were the best part of a most fantastic trip, and made us feel as though we had a "home away from home." The accommodations are excellent, squeaky clean and comfy, and the staff treated us extraordinarily well. The location is wonderful, very close to the flower market (and everything else!) There's some street noise, and if you're a light sleeper, we recommend you bring earplugs, but that shouldn't stop you from just loving your stay as much as we did.
