This looks like a really fancy hotel, not a budget hotel, so I was impressed that it was so cheap! The rooms are huge, with big comfortable beds and balconies, and it's close to the beach although there aren't really views of the Mediterranean as they advertise. We could see a little bit of sea from our balcony. Also, it's not in Alicante — it's in San Juan Playa, which is a 10-minute taxi ride from Alicante. I don't suggest staying in the San Juan area, as it's really, really boring and the food is terrible, including the food at the hotel's restaurant. But it was clean and spacious and comfortable, and the staff all speak English. — Anonymous (2005-06-20)
