2 Disappointing
Sandro pick us up from the bus station. However, we were sent to another apartment by another owner few houses down from his. He said he's helping out this owner to get more customers and there won't be any differences since they are both three-star. The room was really clean but there was no internet in the apartment, so we had to go to internet cafe. Also, the breakfast was very disappointing. Everyday they served same bread, cheese, meat, and canned fruits -- no eggs, no yogurt, no juice, no fresh fruits. Also, the owner of this apartment speaks Croatian and German but didn't speak much English, so it was difficult to communicate. We booked his hostel because of the good reviews. If we knew he was going to put us to different apartment from the beginning, we wouldn't have booked this hostel.

2 Breakfast, owner's dealing good. Untidy rooms, toilet, and furniture
The breakfast is good, and the owner's dealing is ok. But the look of the room (including the toilet and furnitures) was untidy. The fitted carpet on the floor was dirty. This aspects need an urgent inversion from the manager. There was no conditioned air, and the first night there was a party in other room (loud music and drunk people). I don't think that the hostel is as good as other opinions that I have read. I was there with my wife in July 2007.

5 Amazing!
We were budget travelers and booked through this site for the Villa Salzburg. Not only did we love Rovinj during our month long trip through Italy and Croatia, but we loved Sandro. After five days with him, he felt like a brother. Actually he kind of took care of us. He let us pick our own room, which were all painted different colors, fun! And he made whatever you wished for breakfast. You can also rent bikes from there which we did to give the feet a break. Excellent location to the beach, very clean, very homey, and charming. Also, be sure to take Sandro's recommendations for places to eat out at, he knows his stuff. We wish we would have listened to him sooner.

5 Sandro and his staff friendly, clever, emphatic, and at all very very good. The rooms are very clean, moody, climatised (mostly). The food are the best that I have eaten in Croatia, domestic and very very much. It is not used to drink one beverage for the supper for free. It is very intelligent host mentality and manner. It is very friendly. I am a class-chief and i was with twenty-two students (plus seven persons of mine) in his appartement. Everybody was satisfied, really. Sandro and his staff are good, open persons. I recommend it very much and thank for all.

3 The place is cheap, clean, and quiet. The breakfast is good, and the owner is friendly and helpful, but the zone is not safe. Sadly during the stay. a thief visited our room during our sleep, so beware of it.

4 We had a great stay. Sandro picked us up from the station and then gave us each a beer. He couldn't have been more helpful. He spoke perfect English. It's a 15-minute walk to center, and 1 minute to excellent beaches. A good time was had by all.

5 Welcoming host — he was helpful and informative. This was one of the best places I stayed on my trip. Breakfast was really good, and the rooms are clean, spacious, etc. I was really impressed by the owner bringing us to the bus station in his car, for free. Really friendly. The location is really good too, really close to the beach. Loved it.

4 This is a guesthouse run by very friendly and helpful staff. It isn't exactly situated in a great party-planet, but the price is appropriate, the beaches are great and nearby, and the town is beautiful and peaceful.
