Mixed feelings The staff was neither nice nor helpful. They take it for granted that when traveling with a friend you should share a double bed with this friend. Then at the reception, most people accepted that but I do think that it isn't acceptable. As I was with three friends, I refused the double bed thing and they reluctantly gave us a room with four bunk beds and one double bed, for each of us to have his own bed, needless to say that the room was so crammed that the only way to unpack your luggage was to put it on your bed. The flat-screen TV looked nice on the wall but didn't work. The breakfast room was tiny given the number of guests, the buffet badly organized so we had to queue 20 minutes but some people queued longer! Lastly, the hostel is not so close to the city at all. The neighbourhood is pretty dull. The bathroom was clean and the showers hot, though. — May , France (2011-02-26)
