El Punto is a six room Bed & Breakfast. All rooms are private and accomodate up to 4 people each.
Breakfast, Airport shuttle and loundry service is included with the room.
All rooms have A/C and ceiling fan. Night lamp, alarm clock/CD player, mini fridge and coffee maker. Full set of toiletries, towels and linens.
We offer in room massage and body therapies, from after sun skin relieving treatments to chocolate therapy for an extra moisturizing experience. They vary in price, we use only all natural ingredients, olive oil, coconut, rice, aloe vera, honey, papaya, chocolate, etc.
Every friday night we offer a five course Costa Rican meal, with live marimba music.
For the adventurous and romantic travelers we offer a pinic basket with all sorts of goodies to take with you for the day.
This works very well for people going Rincon de la Vieja, Cataratas del Cortez, or Panama Beach.
For honeymooners, we offer a special package that includes a welcome basket and a couples massage.

A wonderful place to stop through or stay for a while in Liberia, Costa Rica! This place is fresh/hip and has a great energy. The staff is superior and everyone goes out of their way to make your experience the best and the hospitality stems from a genuine friendliness. Marianna, the proprietress, has created an establishment where your travel needs and wants can/will be met, offering many of the same services as the expensive resorts as complimentary service or for much less. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. But don't mistake this for a large, impersonal resort because it is small, cozy, and conveniently located. — O. Mariana is helpful, knowledgable and goes out of her way to make sure you are accomodated. It is a great place to practice your Spanish with the friendly staff and is close to bus stops and restaurants. — jennifer (2006-02-26) Three friends and I visited El Punto in July when we wanted to visit the National Park — Rincon de la Vieja. The hostel is in a great location close to restaurants, main bus routes, etc. Also, it is only 20 minutes from the park. Marianna, the owner of the hostel, went out of her way to make our experience enjoyable. She helped us to plan our hiking trip, and also had good suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and other diversions. If you don't speak Spanish, she knows English! Also, the room was very nice, and for $4 the breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend other young travelers to stay here! — Jacqueline Green (2005-07-26)
