Abominable -- we booked this hotel because of its advertised twenty-four-hour reception as we were arriving late into Malpensa airport. We arrived at 2:30 a.m. in the morning during a storm and no one answered the buzzer on the gate, nor did anyone pick up the telephone despite calling and buzzing for thirty minutes. We had already tried to call from the airport after our flight was delayed, again, there was no answer. We eventually gave up and walked in the pouring rain for twenty minutes until we found another hotel -- our luggage was completely soaked and we both became sick after an hour in the cold and wet. Needless to say we won't be using hostel world again and we certainly would never use this hotel again. I would expect at least that the booking fee would be refunded. Please note we spent 100 euros on the replacement hotel and I am considering whether we will also claim the hotel/hostel world for this amount -- which does not of course take into account the fact our night was destroyed, all our clothes and electrical equipment were wet and our weekend was wrecked. Not impressed at all.
