5   Great place to stay We stayed here for 3 days and the owner is very helpful! Even advised us on places to visit and to eat great Italian food. If we visit Genoa again we will surely stay here again. Owner was very friendly. Accommodation was very clean.  , Namibian ()
2  The place is essentially a spare flat which is being used as accommodation. We arrived to be greeted by a locked door, and sign asking any guests who had booked to telephone a number to be let in. So we had the fun of tracking down a pay phone which accepted cash and was not broken. The owner than drove over, via a traffic delay, to let us in, before heading home again. Not a great introduction. Breakfast comprised some plastic wrapped croissants, plastic wrapped toast, and a flask(!) of coffee left out the night before. Along with the inmates of the other room, we resorted to microwaving cups of water for a hot drink in the morning. The B&B is walkable from Principe station, but is a bit of trek from the old town. It is very close to Dinegro metro station, but unfortunately the metro closes at 9 p.m. (when I visited in October 2006), so you need to use the buses to get to and from the town centre. For transport purposes, it is perhaps handy that the B&B is on the main road. This does, however, mean there is no chance of sleeping with the window open.  ()
