5 This is a smaller private hotel close to the bahnhof run by a young couple, and they do a fantastic job. The breakfast is above average, but I'm not picky. Our room had a sink (perfect for laundry) and a deck complete with table and chairs. The owners can give you great tips about what to do and where to eat in Interlaken. Throw out your tour book and listen to them! Be sure to say "hello" to Monty.

5 This is a fantastic B&B. Chris and Ursula are perfect hosts -- friendly, efficient, helpful and a bonafide wealth of information about Interlaken and the surrounding area. Interlaken is the jewel in the crown of this picturesque country. I'll visit again and I'll stay at Rugenpark.

5 From the very start we liked this hotel. Ursula, Chris, and Monty (their dog), were absolutely great. Our children really enjoyed it here, as there was a big garden with a swing set and hammock, and of course, Monty to play with. For an old house (around 130 years old) the rooms were very clean and tidy. The views were magnificent from the balcony, and the hostel's location, close to the station, made it easy for making trips into the mountains, which we could arrange directly from the reception desk. We also liked the breakfast served on the terrace. If you are a family like us looking for a good budget hotel in Interlaken, we definitely can recommend this one.

5 We loved this hotel! The owners, Chris and Ursula, were the friendliest people we met on our entire trip, and really helped us make the most of our time in Interlaken. The hotel is old, but is kept extremely clean and has lots of character. The breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. We highly recommend it!
