Description
The Red Chilli Hideaway has been catering for budget travellers in Uganda since 1999. We have a 2.5 acre compound in a quiet area of Kampala offering hot showers, flushing toilets, 24 hour security and a fully stocked bar and restaurant. We are easily accessible from Kampala city and all other main routes. A machine laundry service is available, along with satellite TV, free safety deposit and storage, travel advice and book-swap.
Camping is US$2.50; Dorm bed US$4; twin rooms US$10; doubles with bathrooms US$17.50; self-catering cottages from US$30 per night.

| Location | From Kampala city centre catch a minibus taxi going to Luzira. Taxis leave from the new taxi park or anywhere along Kampala Road. Price for the journey is Uganda Shillings 500 (about 25 US Cents). Get out along the Port Bell Road opposite the Kobil petrol station and turn left and walk up Kireka Road. Follow the sign posts. |
