A comfortable place to stay for a few days in heart of Istanbul as the guests of a lovely Turkish family. Great roof terrace with views and oppurtunity to meet and talk to experienced travellers. Near to hostels but still quiet in a safe area with lots of restaurants and near to old stuff. Not the place for party animals more for over twenty-five. Limited number of rooms with views. Very clean and plenty of room in most. Great breakfast, drink-making facilities, cold drinks, and use of internet. Good value. Only draw back we found was that noise is transmitted through floors and ventilation pipe. — john hayes (2006-10-11)
