Owned by the Presbyterian Church in Canada as a summer camp and retreat centre but open to all people looking for a place of quiet and natural environment. Our 280 acre site on 5km long Lac Castor and the Trans-Canada Trail covers a variety of lowland and upland terrain with nearly 20km of hiking-mountain biking-cross-country ski trails. The main lodge is open all-year for retreats and group events. The "Jolly Roger" Hostel and campground is open May-October. Pets are not permitted in the buildings but are permitted in the campground. Guests may book meals in our central dining hall or prepare their own meals in the Jolly Roger kitchen. Special diets are accommodated in the dining hall. Our natural beach is lifeguarded in summer. We provide canoe, snowshoe or cross-country ski rentals in season.
At Gracefield camp you will find a warm welcome from the many guests for whom this is their second home. It is a great place for kids who can participate in the summer day camp programs.
