Very comfortable Near the end of my backpacking trip throughout Spain and Portugal in 2005, my brother came for the weekend to visit me in Madrid for my birthday (he was studying in the UK) and we splurged on a room here. Although it was more than I was accustomed to paying (I was staying in student hostels, or for free!), it is surely cheap for anyone looking for a comfortable hotel. Very, very clean and cozy and the owner made us feel welcome. Great location steps from the Palacio Real. — Matt , Canada (2009-03-19) Best place we've stayed during trip to Europe! There was air-conditioning, wich was great because it was so hot in august! The room was small but comfortable, and it was so cheap for what we had! There is even room-service, and cleaning each day! And a TV in our room! The bathrooms were spotless. There was free Internet, too. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, even to people who are not backpacking and want more comfort. It was perfect, really. And the location was great!
