The Ryokan was a very nice, simple place, with a comfortable, traditional room that really made us feel at home. The staff were very friendly to us upon our arrival, and even gave us free gifts. The place itself is kept incredibly clean, and the public baths were a pleasure to use. There was also free Internet access and these awesome massage chairs. They also have DVD and CD players for use by hotel guests. The only downside of the hotel was that it was not in a very central location, and it took about 45 minutes by train to get to central Tokyo. However, the area it was in was a quaint little place with very friendly people and some great places to eat. It was a great place to head home to after a long day battling the crowds of Tokyo. It was a really cool experience staying at the Ryokan, but next time, I might choose a place a little bit closer to the city center. — Anonymous (2004-09-05)
