Really loved staying here. The staff and especially the owner were very friendly and welcoming. Got the feeling this is a family run business. They bought us little treats of oranges and other fruit to snack on and gave us bottles of water and when we went out exploring. The rooms were fine -- very warm in the middle of a winter! They were clean and the linen was good. The restaurant was the best we found in Pingyao. (there were plenty of bad ones though.) It was wonderful to sit in front of the window with a bottle of Red wine and some dumplings and watch life outside while we were defrosting our feet. Would stay here again! — Anonymous (2005-05-23) Very nice hotel. It's ideal for a one-night stay in the middle of the ancient city of Pingyao. Take a rest in nice little rooms, drink a real good (freshly made!) cup of coffee and than step outside to discover the city.
