The Hostelz.com Review
The Flinstones Cave Pension is a very mellow place to stay in Goreme. There are a wide variety of rooms to chose from, and the cheapest, a massive dorm room is unbeatable at $3 per night.
Like most of the places in Goereme, Flinstones is built into the hillside and is a cave. This means that the temperature is constantly cool and pleasant, even when it is deathly hot outside. The hostel has a cool hangout area with cushions, tv, etc. The showers are reasonably clean and the pool is spotless. Oh, the pool is another great perk of the place. The guys clean it daily and there is a nice shady chill out spot at the end of the pool.
We were there during low season, so it wasn't very crowded, though we suspect the atmosphere would be great had there been more people. The owners also are very knowledgeable about the different tours available and will even split their commission with you so you get a perk for booking through them.

i went there but closed. (they are closed in winter time). — jack (2007-01-18)
Got here off season and found the staff very pushy about the tours to book us on, and very reluctant to assist us with issues (i.e. no central heating in the hotel, leaking toilet in the room). It seemed that our presence was a hassle for them. — Kat from Australia (2006-11-11)

Amazing place to meet other travelers, I highly recommend this hostel to all the backpacker. Good breakfast and friendly and welcoming staff. — Aussie (2006-06-05)

Really cool place! Lovely staff (regards to the guys!!!) and a really pleasant place to spend some days in this unique site called Kapadokya. I strongly recommend it! — Alvaro, the Brazilian guy (2005-09-28)
Please be careful there. The rooms are so dirty and have lots of bugs, and the rooms are so humid. It is cheap but it is not worth it to go there. If you are a woman you will see lots of hassling. — Monica (2005-08-14)

Excellent place, good staff. We stayed in a big dorm, which was very cheap. Thanks for all. See you soon. — Anonymous (2005-05-21)

Don't go there. People are racist. If you are a guy don't speak with women because they will beat you. — Anonymous (2004-01-27)
