This hostel is great. We stayed at the hostel for three nights and it was like staying at a friend's house. The owner and all the guests were really nice and we had access to a common kitchen and two big bathrooms, one with a wasching machine. There was always hot water. The rooms are big, light and clean. The hostel is situated in a nice residential area with good bus connections to the center. — Nora (2006-07-02) We had a great stay! It's a bit far from the main city, but it was actually nice to get away from the big sights at night, and the bus system was easy and convenient. Nice little cafes and fruit stands are nearby (way cheaper and higher quality than in the city center). It has larger rooms, it's clean, has funky decor, and really nice folks. I definitely recommend PLP Guesthouse if you're visiting Firenze! — Chad and Lindsay (2005-09-20) My boyfriend and I found this place on hostelz.com but it did not have a rating. This place was fantastic, one of the best places we stayed on our three-month trip.
The guy that runs the place is very friendly, speaks great English and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are great and the facilities, i.e. bathroom, laundry and kitchen, were excellent. Great place to catch up on washing and to cook your own meals. Also the Internet is free. The only thing is that it's a long walk or bus ride into the main center of town, but it was worth it. — Lisa (2005-09-15)
