CYPRUS VILLAGES offers you the unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home… stroll along the narrow cobbled paths to the village square…. have a coffee in the local coffee shop… and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle that respects and nurtures timeless traditions. Before you know, you will be a member of the local community, and will enjoy the generous Cypriot hospitality that can be summed up in a single word, "kopiaste"… come and join us!

CYPRUS VILLAGES was established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni and Kalavasos have been thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization. Tochni and Kalavasos villages lie halfway between Larnaka and Lemesos towns in the countryside and are centrally located and close to the sea (7km) an ideal spot for those who are planning a holiday that combines relaxation on the beach with day tours to explore the whole island. Tochni village guests are booked on b/b basis or h/b basis which is served at the local tavern and is within easy reach.

CYPRUS VILLAGES offers you a choice of studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, and central heating/air-conditioning and access to shared pool. Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our island’s architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. A swimming pool with sun beds is always within easy reach and reserved for our guests.

5   Great place to get a feel of cypriot lifestyle Very nice area, with traditional houses. Wonderful view since it's on top of a hill and you get to see pretty far over the whole village. There was also a little private outdoor siting area for ourself with beautiful flowers and it was really quiet and relaxing. Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful! They also offered us great food for lunch and we also enjoyed tasteful cyprus meals for dinner on the very nice terrace with wonderful setting of the restaurant! The way to get there isn't the easiest but since we got a description in advance from the hotel via e-mail we were able to find it even though it was night and bad weather condition! Thank you. We would totally book the hotel again on another visit!!!  , age 23, Switzerland ()
