Hotel Van Belle

Excellent beakfast, good service, clean
In December 2006 I stayed there with my boyfriend for a week. There are both hotel and hostel Van Belle. We stayed in the hotel in a double room with a big bathroom which was cleaned every day -- towels and sheets were changed every day as well. The best thing about the hotel is their excellent free breakfast and common living room with a fireplace and quiet slow music. there is also wireless, but connection is not very good. The place is just perfect for a couple. A not-so-perfect-thing is that it is located a bit out of city centre, you have to walk some fifteen to twenty minutes. But the hotel offers you a free ride from and to the station, as well as free ride from the city centre several times in the evening (make sure you tell them in advance that you need a ride). The staff was friendly and helpful, and we didn't experience any difficulties, but I found out from other people that some unpleasant things can happen upon your arrival, such as cancellation of your booking or replacement to another room, because they have already rented the room you booked. People also say that their hostel is bad. Again, we had no problems at all and the stay there was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.
