ShuangLang is a quiet village across ErHai Lake from Dali old town. Most people come to this part of Yunnan for Dali, but when they're done partying and shopping, they come across the lake to ShuangLang to relax and enjoy a slower tempo. You can meet some of the local Bai people who have dark skin, sun beaten faces, and warm smiles. Try some of their local food such as ErKuai (rice pancake), RuShan (fried cheese), ShengPi (pork sashimi), and DoFu SuanLaYu (spicy sour fish with tofu).
After you have had your fill, you can sunbathe on our roof, go for a boat ride, visit the local island, rock climb, ride a bike, swim in ErHai Lake, read a book, or simply enjoy our outdoor fireplace with friends, a beer, and a guitar. Whatever it is you want to do, we can help point you in the right direction and make sure you're as comfortable as possible in ShuangLang so you can really "Love This Life."

• Go back to XiaGuan on the #8 blue bus (¥1.5) and get off at the North Bus Terminal (BeiZhan). Buy a ticket to ShuangLangXiang (¥15). It'll take about 1.5 hours to arrive. Get off at NanZhao Folklore Island Ferry Port (NanZhao FengQing Dao MaTou). Walk along the road next to the lake heading toward the island. About 300 meters into your walk, you'll see an old boat on display in the middle of a small plaza. You're there! Just look toward the old boat and you'll see the "Love This Life" guest house right behind it in beautiful yellow and red.
