It was a really fun stay, except I sold Wazza my van and he promised to pay me for it by mail, but I never received a check. It was a couple hundred dollars, and it's been a few years. Probably my mistake for being too trusting, but still!

Had a great night here in Wozza's company. The tree house accommodation is superb and the facilities are pretty comprehensive, considering where you are. There is a fully functioning kitchen, plus toilet and shower facilities. There is a beautiful swimming hole where you can chill for hours on rubber rings and of course the obligatory platypus spotting — unfortunately he did not appear for us. It's a great place to spend the night; the sounds of the rainforest after dark are incredible.

This is the nicest place to be in Australia. It's in the middle of the rainforest, a unique place, worth seeing. Do not miss this opportunity. It's for all nature-lovers.

I've visited this hostel twice, and to be honest, I am quite unpleasantly surprised to find it on the web. It is a very special place, and anyone considering going there: please treat this unspoiled place with tons of respect. If you intend to stay here, you will learn about living in the bush as you are doing so yourself. Its owner Wuzza is a beautiful character who has spent quite a few years in the camp (nine last time I visited). I don't think this is a place for everyone. It is very basic, and that is probably its strongest point. I must say once again, please, please be gentle; the surroundings here are beautiful but delicate. You being there is enough impact as it is, so show respect and have a wonderful time.
