Basic, clean accommodation in a very central location This hotel is a basic no thrills budget hotel -- it is centrally located for the old city, the creek, and the souks, all just a five minute walk away, and all of the old town attractions are easily accessible. It is also close to the airport. The beach is some distance away, so if that is what you came for you would be better off staying at Jumeriah. The hotel room was clean, with a private balcony overlooking the street, TV, a fridge (in Dubai, you need this), and a wet room bathroom. Bottled water is sold at reception and there is internet access. Check out is by lunchtime, but if you have a late flight like I did, they will store your luggage for you behind reception. If all you want is just a well located, clean, quiet room to sleep in after a day of sightseeing, this place is perfect. It was ideal for me. However, some reviewers have given it negative reviews for the lack of facilities, so if you want on-site bars, nightclubs, multi-cuisine restaurants, and sports facilities, there are other hotels providing this.
