2 This place is incredibly out the way. Getting there is a hassle and if you get traffic on the way there it could take up to an hour. The staff were dodgy and didn't even check any sort of ID. The shower had something growing in it.

4 There is a large shopping centre only seven or eight minutes' stroll away with two major supermarkets in the complex. Given that Sydney is a large city -- a major city -- the lodge is convenient to all mid-city attractions and transport is close at hand and frequent. Restaurants abound within easy walking distance. Excellent undercover parking is available -- free of charge -- what other accommodation place in a large city provides that in Australia! The proprietor was friendly and helpful during my one week stay.

2 We stayed here for a month, as we were promised a lot of things before arriving that didn't happen. Firstly the so-called kitchen is a microwave and fridge. We specifically had asked about the facilities and been told we would get an oven and hob. Obviously staying so long we needed a proper kitchen. The owner is very unhelpful and made us feel bad about making a fuss. The Web site is also very misleading about location. It is a very long way from town and a very long way even from Glebe. The bus takes at least 40 minutes out of rush hour. There isn't much to do in the area and no supermarket without a bus ride into town. There is also no Internet and the barbecue area and lounge areas are non existent — unless you count the two plastic chairs on the side of the road. It was fairly quiet and it was clean — the cleaners are the only welcoming people in the place. Not recommended.
