Open seasonally from June through September, you're welcome to stay at our Boston Boat Hostel on the water in downtown Boston aboard the tall ships Schooner LIBERTY CLIPPER and Schooner LIBERTY STAR. Our Bed & Breakfast is "hostel" style. We are a working schooner, so while the ships are out sailing, you'll have your day free to explore the city ashore (unless you sign up for the harbor cruise that's out sailing at that time). Most days the ship is out sailing from Noon to 8:00 PM, however, some days may start earlier or go later with either private charters or special events.
-- ACCOMMODATIONS --
The 125-ft LIBERTY CLIPPER features 12 cabins that can accommodate up to 24 guests. We offer three styles of cabin accommodations aboard the LIBERTY CLIPPER:
> Standard Cabins feature a single top/bottom bunk
> Premium Cabins feature an upper double-bunk for two to share
> En-Suite Cabins feature a lower bottom-bunk and a private attached bathroom with shower and toilet, accessible only to those staying in the cabin
Each cabin aboard the LIBERTY CLIPPER includes a vanity with a hot and cold running water sink. On this vessel, our Standard & Premium Cabins have shared bathrooms; the ship features 3 showers and 4 bathrooms.
The 67-ft LIBERTY STAR features 3 cabins that can accommodate up to 6 guests. We offer two styles of cabin accommodations aboard the LIBERTY STAR:
> Standard/Forward Cabins with single top/bottom bunks and a "butterfly-hatch"
> Premium Deluxe Cabin with full-sized bed and skylight
On this vessel, there is one bathroom with a shower for our guests that is shared and we also have a fresh-water on-deck shower
On either ship, each bunk is outfitted with comfortable pillows, linens, a reading light, blankets and bath towels. Many of the cabins have 110-volt outlets to charge your camera and other electrical devices.
We welcome solo travelers and have two different types of accommodations available for you. On either ship you can choose to purchase a bunk in a cabin, which we call the "
Single-Shared Option", this means that if another passenger books this option we will put you together in the same cabin. Or, you can chose the "Private Single Option" to have the cabin to yourself.
