I really liked this hostel. It's in a good location, just a walk down the stairs to be right on the waterfront. It was clean and quiet and the people working there were very helpful and friendly.

We visited the hostel for two weeks, August 3-18, 2004. We found it a great value for money, and a hassle-free accommodation. Bob, the manager, was fantastic, and was mostly available to help out with any problems. He'll probably remember us, so sorry for the party on the rooftop with the Belgiums on the last night, mate, and for being slightly late on our exit! The hostel is situated in a vibrant area, with plenty of cafes and bars to choose from, and a glitzy ritzy-style night club five minutes away on the harbor front. (We decided to abstain.) This means Fridays and Saturdays are busy, so be prepared for a bit of noise in the early hours. It was no problem for us, though. In short, this is a well-situated, well-run hostel at a very affordable price.
