Description
All our rooms are decorated in a modern style and are non smoking.
Each room has cable tv, digital clock, radio, coffee and tea making facilities and double beds.
Breakfast is not included in our rate and is not served in the guesthouse. Our next door neighbours on #2 and our neighbours opposite on #1 are both local breakfast, lunch and dinner cafe's where you can choose from just a croissant and coffee/tea to a full English or American breakfast. Giving you a choice of breakfast venue within 10 meters from where you sleep.
You still can have your tea or coffee when you wake-up as coffee and tea making facilities are in all your rooms. So are fresh flowers, mineral water and a bottle of wine.

The rooms are decorated in light colours. The fabrics used in the rooms are mainly light in colour with some splashes of brightness in the form of cushions and pictures.

5 Good base to explore Amsterdam, about 10mins walk from the main train station. The Anne Frank musuem is about 5 minutes away. The rooms are great, open plan shower and separate toilet within the room. Its like your own apartment.   — Anonymous (2011-12-11) Hostelbookers

5 Great place to stay in amsterdam. The location is central, it's clean and very convienent for travellers. They even put an extra bed since we wanted to sleep in seperate beds (two friends, and not couple, although we booked a double room).   — Yaron Orenstein (2011-10-24) Hostelbookers

5 I really recommend this location to other travellers. The rooms are decorated with love, clean and direct between the grachten. In the rooms there where a waterheater, tea, fridgerator, towels and a fan. We rend bicycles and drove through the city without problems. The owner is really friendly and nice.   — Sandra Krienelke (2011-10-05) Hostelbookers
4 The accomodation was a room in an apartment, therefore you could come and go as you pleased. Very quiet, yet overlooking a canal. Tea and coffee was provided. Good wi-fi signal.   — Mr Powell (2011-09-30) Hostelbookers
5 Paul, the host, was very helpful with tips about the city and the room was very clean, smelling fresh. The room was quite big and tastefully decorated, also we had a TV and small fridge in the room as well as coffee for the morning and tea. The property location is in a quiet neighborhood but very close to the Central Station, Dam Square and Red Light district. Another plus is the fact that we had central heating even if it wasn't that cold, it was the end of September.   — Bogdan Munteanu (2011-09-26) Hostelbookers

5  I absolutely loved Truelove. We expected to stay in the guesthouse, but on arrival we were given our own apartment around the corner. It was beautiful and had everything we needed — full kitchen, etc., and it was full of antiques. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful, value for money stay in a tranquil area of Amsterdam, which is still only a five-minute walk from the action. Perfect!  ()
