Great hostel Fantastic friendly owners, Sean and Janine, who create a great atmosphere and have many great traveling suggestions, a large clean and well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room with a stack of books on the shelves, large TV room, clean dorms and bathrooms, cheap internet, and a few parking spaces. This place has everything you could want from a hostel. Only possible downsides -- first shower I tried had no hot water, but no such problems when I tried another one. The place was largely empty at the time so I had the luxury of choice. And why are there so many doors inside the place? Easy to get disoriented and lost, but that's just part of this place's character. If in/near Bude, stay here!

Fantastic hostel! We stayed here last year and had the best time ever! The atmosphere of the place played a huge part in our holiday, and some of the best nights were spent chilling at the hostel with other guests. Sean and Janine are lovely -- they gave us champagne stuff on our results day, which was a completely unexpected surprise! I would recommend this hostel to absolutely anyone -- young people or families! Young people beware, bude is a sleepy town, and families stay at the hostel so you cant be loud and rowdy all night.... but thats what the beach/town is for! Its very clean, more spacious than other hostels we've been to, and has lots of communal rooms giving it a great atmosphere and quite a homely feel. We loved it and would definitely go back!

This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! The owner is very friendly and the rooms are excellent. They have brand new beds and facilities. The room sizes are great. Bude is very nice, too, with plenty of shops (a lot of surf shops around) and a Cornish atmosphere. There are nice beaches and some golf courses around (no membership required).
