I Gerani B&B can be reached following the coast road from Cagliari to Villasimius; when you arrive in Flumini, you just have to follow instructions (as B&B I Gerani is indicated from major streets of Flumini). Based in Flumini, you can easily reach all the most famous beaches of the coast, but staying close to the main city, Cagliari, and close to the countryside. It is also possible to visit the inland area, with mountains (and their trekking trails), or relaxing walks, visit ancient Nuraghic civilization archeological sites, or spend some time within Molentargius natural park or within a Waterpark.I Gerani B&B also offers a touristic guide service on tours in the surroundings (also available by boat in the South part of the island with departures from the port of Cagliari, which is at about 20 minutes distance).
Typical landscapes include traditional houses and churches, (called “campidanese style”, characterized as being made of bricks - usually mud bricks), that can be visited during the whole year; also typical of the Southern part of the island is the coast made of beautiful beaches and gulfs; the inland part offers hardwood forests with wild boars and mouflons living there, a natural park (Molentargius), where flamingos live, and the area covered by old saltworks.
The place where I Gerani B&B is located, is easily reachable from Cagliari by public transport, the port area and the airport or the railway station (departing from the railway station you can arrive in all main cities of the island).
