Insecure, tacky, very basic, and poor service There were certainly no lockers in our room when we were there in September 2009, and no TV or bar for guests, in fact access to the bar was strictly forbidden at all times except to those paying to have breakfast there. The service is very basic as the owner aims to put in the minimum effort and expense in running the hostel thus cutting out most facilities travelers take for granted in Eastern European hostels. They basically give you a bed to sleep in, hot showers, and wireless internet if you carry your own laptop but nothing else. No indoor common room, computer, free coffee or tea, lockers, and towels. And no reception though they say if a guest rings the outside bell someone will soon attend. In addition the outside door can be opened by anyone and yet there are no keys for the rooms which are always left unlocked and at the mercy of possible intruders. There is an obvious security risk.
