In the heart of Manhattan we created a calm, cosy and intimate atmosphere where you can relax and really feel at home. Urban Oasis is a small and homely place with a limited number of rooms and guests so if you want a quiet place, personal attention and good accommodation at a reasonable price, book with us.

We accept online reservations only.
TAXES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RATES SHOWN.
An additional 14.75% New York City hotel tax and a $3.50/room/night occupancy fee will be added to your balance to be paid on arrival.
All arrivals will need to provide arrival time.
Luggage drop-off: from 9:00 am
Check-in to room: 2:00pm-11:00 pm
Check out of room: by 11:00 am
NO CHECK-IN AFTER 11PM.
As we do not have a traditional 24-hour front desk, as well as out of courtesy to our other guests, we ask that all check-ins occur before 11:00 pm. No check-ins after 11:00 pm, no exceptions.
Customers that have a late night flight should reserve with us at their own risk. (Late cancellation fee of 1 night charge will still apply if guest is not able to reach us by 11:00 pm) Note: it takes at least 2 hours to get to Midtown Manhattan from the airports counting from the time of landing.
No children under the age of 16.

Love this place, as the name suggests is a little oasis tucked away, but close to 5th Ave and Empire State Building. Staff are very helpful and looking out for you. Thanks for an awesome time, if we come back to New York we will stay here again x

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The location was especially good: it was two streets behind the Macy's and Penn Station. At Penn Station you can get on almost every subway line you want. The common area with a large kitchen and fridge was also great. Everything you need is available.

Urban Oasis was fantastic to stay at, it felt more like you were staying at a good friends house rather than a hostel. It was excellent value for money and a brilliant location. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. I would definately reccomend Urban Oasis and come back to stay again!

Before coming to Urban Oasis, I was in contact with the staff; they were friendly and quick to answer any questions. The same thing during my whole stay. Flexible and helpful. The place got a great location, close to Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Flatiron building e.g. Modern furnitures, everything is from IKEA so its practical and colourful. Absolutely the best hostel I've stayed in so far during my 6 months in North America.

Everything. It is the best hostel we have ever stayed in. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They provide you with hints and tips for great places to eat and go to as well as keeping the place spotlessly clean. It felt more like a home apartment than a hostel and really was a great place to come back to after a long day pounding the streets. Free internet, use of telephone for local calls and even a laundry service. It is an amazing place that we would highly recommend.

Urban Oasis is just that, it's a little chilled out stylish loft apartment-style hostel in the heart of it all, it's just off Herald Square so right by Macy's and the Empire State Building, perfect.
There are brilliant cooking facilities so if you're on a tight budget you can buy in. Although the rooms are not ensuite the bathrooms are impeccably clean (this was my biggest fear) and I rarely had to wait. The staff are super helpful and the owners are often on hand too for that extra personal touch.
Oh also, there's towels for every guest and a hairdryer and straighteners for everyone's use too, save you bringing your own. there's also a scales for weighing your case+shopping!!

This Hostel is amazing. It is like being given the keys to someones massive New York appartment. The whole place is very spacious and clean. We stayed in a superior double and the room was huge with a massive window and the bed was very big and comfortable too. I saw into some of the other rooms and they were all really nice and had plenty of space. There is a good kitchen and plenty of common areas which are very comfortable and relaxing. There is a big TV with loads of channels and movies to choose from and a bean bag corner with books and magazines to read and info about New York. We were on the 10th floor and had free wifi in our room and downstairs there were free computers to use and the internet connection is good.This hostel is very quiet and it often feels like you have the place to yourself.

its a cool, contemporary space with really friendly and helpful staff, the place is immaculately clean and is such a chilled out place to stay among the hustle and bustle of midtown. Its also relatively cheap for that area -- highly recommend it!
