Clean, very simple facility, great price, had breakfast included (not sure this works year round..). Most of the staff were very nice and tried to help with whatever they could. Advice, information, 24h reception was great thing.. room to hand out, free wifi, though a bit too slow and sometimes hard to connect to. I felt safe and secure in the property. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The reception was open 24 hours which was a great help. I was there in early December, so not many people to make a 'fun-factor'. The front reception people were very helpful and kind, the kitchen staff were caring and attentive. The room was a little cool, but Berlin had unseasonably cold weather at this time. The backyard farm animals were a delight! Having Wifi was a great help. The location is close enough to major sites but is still pretty residential and sooo quiet for a good night's sleep. Only the doors rattle in their casings when anyone opens the hall door. This banging (often in the middle of the night) could be fixed by just a little strip of felt or something to dampen the shake and would make the place perfect. Showers are like in a gym, but each has a privacy curtain and all are clean. The breakfast is the best part, with all you can eat buns, cold-cuts, cheese, tomatoes, cukes, coffee, teas, eggs, jams, quark (amazingly thick yogourt) and juices.
