The neighbourhood is very cosy, the place is quiet, not far from the metro station and not so far from the center of Berlin. Free breakfast is good and plentiful.

Pros:
- cheap, includes internet (bring your own laptop for the lobby)
- Breakfast included (cereals, cold cuts, fruit)
- About 10 min away from the U-bahn
Cons:
- Thin walls - can hear people entering the floor we're on
- No place in shower stall to get changed
- Long dark hallways at night to the bathroom

The hostel is very central, so it's easy to get to the sights of Berlin. Quiet, which is very good. We missed access to water in the room, and it's inconvenient with the men's toilet in the floor above.
The breakfast was good!

Clean, very simple facility, great price, had breakfast included (not sure this works year round..). Most of the staff were very nice and tried to help with whatever they could. Advice, information, 24h reception was great thing.. room to hand out, free wifi, though a bit too slow and sometimes hard to connect to.
The place was not that far from Checkpoint Charlie, also some interesting area to the east..

I felt safe and secure in the property. The staff were very friendly and very
helpful. The reception was open 24 hours which was a great help. Continental Breakfast was good, cereals, crusty rolls with cheese, meats, boiled eggs, fruit, coffee and juices.

Very good location. I could get nearly everywhere from this place. Not far to U-bahn, about 800metres to the nearest museum.

The hostel is quite ok. Quite near to the city center. Unfortunatelly there isn't any kitchen where you could boil water on your own to make f.i. tea or coffee. The rooms are quite warm. The gents and ladies are on different floor.

I was there in early December, so not many people to make a 'fun-factor'. The front reception people were very helpful and kind, the kitchen staff were caring and attentive. The room was a little cool, but Berlin had unseasonably cold weather at this time. The backyard farm animals were a delight! Having Wifi was a great help. The location is close enough to major sites but is still pretty residential and sooo quiet for a good night's sleep. Only the doors rattle in their casings when anyone opens the hall door. This banging (often in the middle of the night) could be fixed by just a little strip of felt or something to dampen the shake and would make the place perfect. Showers are like in a gym, but each has a privacy curtain and all are clean. The breakfast is the best part, with all you can eat buns, cold-cuts, cheese, tomatoes, cukes, coffee, teas, eggs, jams, quark (amazingly thick yogourt) and juices. I left every morning absolutely stuffed and happy. Loved Berlin for its down-to-earth people, plentiful food, and great culture.
